I've been interested in creating videos that tell peoples personal stories for quite some time. Below you'll find a link to the story of the memory video we produced for my friend Siobhan whose mother, Valerie has alzheimers.
Valerie was engaged, she remembered, she communicated her appreciation to me with her eyes and her touch. She thanked me over and over again.

Valerie inspired our Mission:
Our mission is to improve communication, facilitate sharing of life stories and interests, and strengthen the relationships between individuals, friends, family, and care team.
It is difficult to share one’s life history, connect, communicate, and share interests when this information is not as readily recalled.
The concept for our memory video has been developed in “at home” and long term care settings
with caregivers and people with Alzheimer’s. We have learned a lot and have incorporated this knowledge in our creative approach.
Memory videos are based on the following key concepts, reminicence therapy, music therapy and validation therapy.
